Abstract

Three meta-analyses investigated retest effects in cognitive ability tests when administered multiple times: The first analyzed score gains in a broad range of cognitive ability tests, the second exclusively focused on working memory tests, and the third evaluated response time reduction due to retesting in mental speed tasks.
