Suicide Methods: Factors Related to Suicide By Firearms Versus Non-Firearms for Individuals with Physical Illnesses

Abstract
A total of 414 participants with physical illnesses whose deaths were determined to be suicides were examined. A binomial logistic regression model was built to examine the relationship among various risk factors such as demographics and personal histories of individuals who are more likely to choose firearm versus non-firearm suicide.
