Construction and Evidence of Validity of a Scale of Socio-Emotional Competences

Abstract
The objective of this study was to construct and search for evidence of validity of a measure of socioemotional competences. The analysis revealed five factors presenting groupings of items theoretically consistent with the proposed hypothetical model. Further studies can be carried out in the search for other evidence of validity.
