Abstract

Currently, there is a debate regarding the separation of hyperactive and impulsive symptoms of ADHD into separate dimensions. The BASC-2 and BRIEF were used to examine hyperactivity and impulsivity as predictors of executive function. Findings indicated that several areas of executive functioning were better predicted by impulsivity than hyperactivity.
