Objective Error Checking As Predictor of Successful Replication

Abstract

An analysis of 172 articles was performed using two methods, Statcheck and GRIM, for detecting quantitative errors in the reports of completed studies. Errors detected by Statcheck and GRIM was hypothesized to be a predictive factor in replication failure of original studies.
