Abstract

Female HSDD is explained by a set of predictors in non-lonely subjects, whereas low self-esteem emerged as a powerful and sole predictor in lonely individuals. These results suggest two routes in SAM: A self-centered evaluation route in lonely patients, and a route around the social self in non-lonely patients.
