The current study examines the relationship between outcome and intention of suicide. Participants judged the morality and emotional impact of a story in which a protagonist overdose. The design was 2 x 2 x 2, intention (intentional vs. accidental overdose) crossed with outcome (died vs. survived) crossed with protagonist gender.
