Abstract
Greater use of the MyFitnessPal app and, in particular, its non-social features predicted success in meeting health-related goals. Higher self-efficacy for both physical activity and healthy eating also predicted participants’ success. Notably, participants with low self-efficacy for healthy eating but high app usage were able to meet nutrition related goals.
