- J. Peter Leeds

Abstract
The Theory of Cognitive Acuity treats the response options within items as signals to be detected and estimates respondents’ sensitivity to these signals. Here situational judgement test items presented response option pairs with the difference in correctness modeled as signal. Sensitivity to signals was measured and related to criterion variables.
