Abstract

This study examines differences among treatment settings (inpatient, residential, criminal corrections) and successful opioid abstinence. A chi-square analysis was conducted and the results suggest that treatment received in inpatient settings does not provide the necessary level of care to achieve long-term abstinence compared to criminal corrections and residential settings.
