Abstract

Food intake is related to body mass index. Pressure to present eating behaviour in a desirable way makes this effect difficult to observe under experimental conditions. Here we show that significantly higher food intake occurs with higher BMI in the absence of a strong positive implicit attitude toward low-calorie food.
