Abstract
Maternal substance dependence is associated with an array of environmental risk factors that influence parenting and child development. However, less is known about how substance dependence influences parenting attributes and parenting behaviors across parenting domains. Findings from this project show that maternal alcohol dependence differentially influences parenting across child-rearing contexts.
