What's the Deal with "S" in STEM? Not All STEM Majors View Math the Same

This study examined whether psychology and other non-traditional STEM majors are more math averse than those interested in core STEM disciplines (i.e., engineering, computer science). Differences emerged in math anxiety, confidence, enjoyment, and mastery goals between those in science ("S") disciplines - particularly psychology and nursing- and other STEM majors.
