Abstract

The goal of the current study was to examine the relationships among childhood maltreatment, coping strategies, and internalizing and externalizing behaviors in young adults. Also of interest was the extent to which coping mechanisms mediate the expected relationships between the childhood maltreatment variables and the negative outcomes variables.
