Abstract
Why are there no late night, politically-conservative, comedic talk-show hosts? Is there no market for such programming? This study explores how the political ideologies of voting-aged adults are correlated with specific humor preferences and other individual differences factors. Implications of these results for humor in political discourse are discussed.
