Abstract
Unfortunately, learning myths are common in educational settings. These myths can be harmful and lead to ineffective teaching methods and recommendations. We compiled results from 12 empirical papers that surveyed a total of 14,737 participants in 15 different countries to determine which misunderstandings were most commonly believed across the world.
