Abstract

We examined whether Bicultural Identity Integration (BII) mediates the relationship between racial discrimination and mental health among racial and ethnic minority immigrants. We found that bicultural identity conflict, a component of BII, partially mediates the relationship between racial discrimination and depression and anxiety symptoms.
