Academic Achievement of International Students: Impact of English Proficiency, Gender, Types of High School Students Attended, and Year in College

Abstract
This research investigated relationship between international students’ English proficiency and their academic achievement in US. universities. Findings showed international students’ English proficiency was significantly related to academic achievement. The interception of gender and types of high school students attended, and years in college significantly affect their academic achievement.
