Abstract

The present study explored the relationship between parents’ ethnic socialization and children’s ethnic identity in a sample of 151 Chinese immigrant families. Results indicated parents’ ethnic socialization was positively associated with children’s ethnic identity centrality and parents’ socialization of bias was positively associated with children’s positive regard for ethnic identity.
