The Relationship between Self-Compassion and Stress Affect Rating from Baseline Level to after Counting

We examined whether the relationship between self-compassion and baseline stress level would be significant factors in predicting the level of stress after the TSST counting task and at various time intervals after. Our results suggest that self-compassion reduces stress after counting and stress moderately decreases over time.
