The Interaction of Social Support and Sex Moderating the Effects of Anxiety on Depression

We examined whether the relationship between anxiety, social support quality and quantity, and sex have any significance in the determination of depressive symptoms. Our results suggest that anxiety alone reduces depression and that the combination of social support, sex, anxiety and age are significant predicators for depression.
