Abstract
The racial composition of a White target's friendships affected Black participants' meta-perceptions, mediated by perceptions of prejudice. When the target had all White friends, participants expected to be viewed as less competent and warm, but not when the target had Black and White friends or Hispanic, Asian, and White friends.
