Abstract

The role of gender on math attitudes and math anxiety was examined. Two-way ANOVA procedures showed that females experienced higher math anxiety than male students, especially when they had lower motivation, enjoyment, or value for math. Implications exist for the role of attitudes and anxiety in math performance.
