Abstract
This laboratory experiment tested whether briefly practicing improvisational theater would boost people’s tolerance for uncertainty and divergent thinking. The study replicated a previous paradigm where a twenty-minute session increased creativity scores. Findings support both relationships, although improvisation does not seem to promote tolerance for uncertainty better than a control.
