Abstract

The effects of applicant gender and gender-prototypicality of the job on the amounts of agentic and communal language on resumes were analyzed. We controlled for the presence of stereotypically female jobs. There were main effects of gender and gender-prototypicality of the job on amounts of both agentic and communal language.
