Abstract

The current study analyzes the interaction between constructive communication and need for closure in predicting relationship quality. As need for closure affects social perceptions, it may affect the association between constructive communication and relationship quality. Previous research has not examined these effects on perceptions of romantic relationship processes and outcomes.
