Telling the Time, Calculating a Discount, and Counting Change: What Affects Bilinguals’ Language Preferences for Everyday Number Tasks?

This study examined the influence of language dominance and language of instruction as predictors of language preference for everyday number use by 116 Spanish-English fluent bilingual adults in Texas. The results suggest that the two factors deferentially predict preferred language use in three number domains.
