Abstract
The influence of expressive faces and marijuana/non-marijuana targets on gaze-triggered attentional orienting was examined with a Posner-style cueing task. Regardless of facial expression or target type, participants were faster to identify targets located at gazed-at locations, suggesting that gaze-triggered orienting is not affected by cue/target contingencies under certain conditions.
