Building Team Trust through Continuity of Patient Care: A Qualitative Investigation

We used an exploratory, qualitative approach to better understand medical teamwork, identifying and clarifying the critical role of trust between patients and providers. This presentation illustrates the challenges faced by practitioners, discusses theory linking team trust to continuity of patient care, and synthesizes best practices stemming from this work.
