Abstract

A sample of 256 college women at a diverse, public university completed an online survey examining their feminist beliefs, self-theory of intelligence, and college self-efficacy. Feminist beliefs were indirectly related to college self-efficacy through incremental self-theory, suggesting that feminist beliefs may be an important factor in women’s academic achievement.
