Psychometric Evaluation of the Brief Approach and Avoidance of Alcohol Questionnaire in a College Student Sample

The current study evaluated the psychometric properties of the brief AAAQ in a college student sample. Analyses showed superior model fit compared to longer versions, comparable internal consistency, and comparable variance explained in drinking. These findings suggest that the brief AAAQ is an appropriate for use with student samples.
