Like Father, like Son: Stereotypical Black Facial Features in Children and the Loss of Innocence

Abstract
People were more likely to miscategorize children with stereotypical faces into negative compared to positive roles and more likely to increase disciplinary judgments for stererotypical compared to atypical faces. This suggest that the heuristic processes that underpin biased decisions regarding adult stereotypical features (e.g., full lips) extend to children’s faces.
