Racial Discrepancies in Access to Mental Health Programs

The purpose of this study is to identify differences in utilization rates among races for specific types of services. A Pearson correlation yielded significant relationships between all races compared to services offered. Results indicate a marked lack of consistent utilization of services across races for critical mental health needs.
