Abstract

This study found academic stress, marijuana use, and psychological well-being predicted minority students’ intentions to quit college. Academic stress and marijuana use positively predicted students’ intentions to quit whereas psychological well-being was inversely associated with such intentions. These findings are informative for institutions seeking to reduce attrition among minority students.
