Exploring Ethnicity, Grit and Academic Performance at a Small University

Abstract
Prior studies present conflicting findings on grit and academic success. The current study compared White students with Black students at a small university. Results indicated no group differences on grit or GPA for these students. These findings emphasize the necessity of further research to understand the role environment plays.
