Abstract
The study investigated the influence of fear, social contact, empathy, occupational risk, and perceived systemic support on nurses’ willingness to interact with patients living HIV. Findings show that nurses' fear significantly hinders practitioner-patient interaction. However, nurses’ social contact with HIV patients increases their willingness to interact with patients.
