Abstract
Research on resilience, assessed as the availability and use of internal and external resources, was extended by examining peer loneliness and including mediators of the process. Resilience directly (negatively) related to loneliness, and indirectly related to loneliness as mediated by peer liking (negatively) and psychological inflexibility (positively).
