Abstract
Previous research has repeatedly demonstrated the effectiveness of the keyword method in learning new vocabulary (Crutcher & Ericsson, 2000). This experiment investigated the effect of the type of imagery (interactive versus non-interactive) on learning and recall of Indonesian-English vocabulary pairs learned using the keyword method.
