Abstract
The present study revealed that participants' preferences for alternating their exposure to emotional elicitors was related to a higher ratio of positive relative to negative affect, particularly for older in comparison to younger adults. These results provide further evidence for the role of affective decision-making on age-related well-being trajectories.
