Abstract

This study examines the relationship between perceived stress, aspects of negative affect, and eating disorder symptoms. Results show a significant interaction between perceived stress and sadness associated to eating disorder symptoms. Perceived stress and eating disorder symptoms were positively associated when levels of sadness were high but not low.
