Response Conflict of Emotion in PTSD: Nepal Earthquake

Abstract

Response conflict of emotion laden texts and faces were examined in PTSD. PTSD took more time in recognition of happy faces/texts compared with other categories. nonPTSD exhibited an overall recognition advantage for emotion words compared with emotion images. Findings suggest PTSD increase response conflicts in recognition of emotion.
