Abstract

Complex adaptive systems theory has been studied across various systems and disciplines, but has not informed understanding attachment and attachment injuries. Findings from two qualitative studies contribute to the sparse qualitative research that has explored attachment injuries, and could encourage psychologists to utilize complexity concepts in teaching, training, and practice.
