Abstract

The Common-sense model (CSM) posits that patients’ common-sense beliefs about their illnesses affects health outcomes. The present study uses structural equation modeling to explore how the CSM relates to quality of life impairments in patients treated for pituitary tumors. Personality is also explored as a potentially relevant covariate.
