Abstract
Navigating our social environment is supported by repeated positive and negative interactions, through which we form representations of others’ (social) value. We demonstrated that people learn the value of others instrumentally, based on the reception of positive or negative feedback. Moreover, this learning modulated the perceptual processing of others’ faces.
