Classification of Active Vs. Inactive Words Primed By Images of Different Body Types Exercising: The Roles of Body Mass Index and Restrained Eating

Associative priming was used to determine whether the identification of activity-related words was influenced by heavy and thin bodies eating or exercising. Results suggest that exercising bodies prime activity-related words overall, but this may be mitigated by the eating patterns of the observer.
