Students evaluated a "mock newspaper article" using research methods concepts. Are students as competent as they are confident at identifying these concepts? Do seniors do better than freshmen? Pilot data show "correlation vs causation" is a principle that sticks, whereas others need more reinforcement at all levels of the curriculum.
