Abstract

Developmental theory identifies that short-term, dynamic processes change over longer timescales. Applied jointly, process models and multiple timescale study designs/analysis begin to methodologically match this complexity. We present an illustrative application of a multilevel process model to measurement-burst affective data, demonstrating interindividual differences and intraindividual change in intraindividual affect dynamics.
