Dynamic Text As an Effective Educational Tool: Pilot Study

Abstract

The use of multiple modalities as instructional tools poses questions about their effectiveness. In this pilot study, participants were randomly assigned to one of three conditions: dynamic text with voice over, multimedia, and plain text and tested for comprehension. Preliminary results indicate dynamic text has a significant effect on comprehension.
