Abstract

The present study examined the associations between emotion regulation capabilities, dyadic coping processes, and psychological distress in a sample of heterosexual romantic couples. Results indicated that, for men, higher levels of perceived negative dyadic coping by their partners moderated the association between deficits in emotion regulation and psychological distress.
