Abstract
We examined associations between body appreciation and attentional biases for thin-ideal cues in body-satisfied and body-dissatisfied women (N=120), and whether body appreciation moderated the documented association between body dissatisfaction and attention. Higher body appreciation was associated with reduced attentional biases, but body appreciation did not moderate the body-dissatisfaction/attentional bias relationship.
